DO YOU WANT TO JOIN THE PARTIDO POPULAR?

IT'S EASY

The Partido Popular is the political organization with the largest social base in Spain and one of the first in Europe. With almost 707.000 members, it forms a cohesive political community in which people are its essential axis of action.


Since the founding of the party in 1976, membership has been a growing constant, as can be seen in the evolution of the last thirty years. Affiliates are our greatest value as an organization, because each personal commitment to the party represents a new bond with society and strengthens the great popular community that we already are.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be of legal age.


  • Spanish and in this case, not be a member of any other party, except for those residing abroad who  may be affiliated to parties related to the Partido Popular.


  • Be a citizen of a country of the European Union. In this case, they may simultaneously be members of parties of their national scope, provided that they  are related to the Partido Popular.


  • To be familiar with and accept the party's Bylaws and its principles of action.

OPTIONS

The current Statutes of the party establish a single figure, that of the affiliate, with two modalities:


  • Militant, with obligation of quota.


  • Sympathizer, with no quota obligation.

NEW GENERATIONS

Those between the ages of 18 and 28 may join the party through New Generations. Between the ages of 16 and 18 they may also be affiliated to this organization but they will not reach full rights until they are 18.

If you want to join the Partido Popular, you can download the affiliation form and present it at the office closest to your place of residence, following the procedure that we explain in this section.



There are three models:

  • For residents in Spain over 18 years of age.

  • For Spaniards residing outside Spanish territory, there is a different model from the previous ones.
